Norwegian airport boards (and this site) pull status codes from Avinor’s public feed. The labels are simple, but they don’t always match what you expect from the wall clock.
Status codes
- Scheduled — no special status yet; use the listed time
- New time — the plan changed; the time shown with the status is the new estimate
- New info — extra update (often a next-info time)
- Departed / Arrived — the airport has confirmed the actual event
- Cancelled — the flight will not operate
Why “New time” can linger past the clock
“New time · 15:30” means the revised schedule is 15:30. It does not mean the plane has left. Departed only appears when Avinor receives that confirmation. Until then the board can still say “New time” even after 16:40.
Tips for travelers
- Treat this board as a helper, not the only source of truth
- Confirm with your airline app or the airport screens
- Allow buffer for regional weather and short-haul delays
